They provide end-to-end civil construction solutions for public and private sector clients including state infrastructure, mining and residential development projects. The Role

They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team and play a key role in the delivery of civil construction projects. In the role, you will take ownership of projects from earyl stages through to completion. You will wokr closely with the Site Manager and be actively involved in project programming, client coordination and day-to-day execution of works. This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop cost effective engineering solutions for the project and review project/contract documentation and raise technical queires as required.
  • Provide engineering/technical advice to on-site Supervisors and other project staff involved in the works
  • Assist with planning and scheduling of works for the project and organise project resources and equipment
  • Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures, client specifications and ISO requirements

Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (civil)
  • Extensive experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects
  • High attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the work
  • Be delivery focused with a high level of self-motivation and drive to support the delivery of the project to schedule
  • Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
This role is primarily based on site in Central West NSW, therefore, the successful candidate will be expected to be based there full time.
